As discussed in a recent article on The Mac Security Blog about using the Open and Save dialogs, you can open any file from an app’s Open dialog (if that app supports the file type). Just press Command-O in your app, navigate to the file, select it, and click Open or press Return. This will open the Force Quit Applications manager which will show you all running apps on your Mac. Here’s how to delete a stock, fund, or index: Choose Edit→Edit Watchlist or use its keyboard shortcut, Command + L. Click the – (minus sign) in a red circle to the left of the stock’s name. Click the Remove button that appears to the right of the stock’s name. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you’ve deleted all unwanted stocks. The iPhone also syncs with iTunes, so all applications, songs and settings are shown. View the left side of the iTunes window and locate the list of applications. Locate the stock app you wish to remove. Right-click the icon and select 'Delete.' Click the 'Remove' button on the confirmation screen. In the Stocks app on your Mac, type a name or ticker symbol in the search field. In the search results list, click the ticker symbol you want to add. Detailed information about the ticker symbol is displayed in the pane on the right. In the pane on the right, click the Add to Watchlist button near the upper right. The application or program can probably be found in your Applications folder. Open Finder and click on the Applications folder located on the sidebar. Once there, locate the program or application you wish to delete, and drag it to the trash bin located on the far right of the task bar.
